This white ironstone coffee pot is in the classic "Ceres" pattern by Elsmore and Forster, made during the 1860's. The pattern consists of wheat motifs and rope borders, over a lobed/paneled shape. Nice clean white example. Unmarked, but from the 1860's period of English white ironstone.
Size: Approximately 9 1/2" high.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
