This cut glass ice pail or bucket has a tapered form, with cut prisms, pairs of notched prisms alternating with pairs of plain ones.
Sterling rim and handle, marked "Sterling" and a maker's mark I can't trace, but may be Wilcox Silver Co.
American cut glass, ca. 1910-20.
Size: Approximately 6" top diameter, 3 1/2" bottom diameter. Base approximately 5 1/4" high (without handle raised)
Condition: Very good. As usual with this style, some small nicks on the edges of the vertical prisms.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
