This form and design were typical in English porcelain during the late 18th-early 19th century, This sugar bowl (or sucrier) could have been made at Worcester or Coalport, if not others.

The body has a fluted form, and decoration is in purple and gilt.

No maker's mark. English, ca. 1795

Size: Approximately 4 ½" diameter, 5" tall.

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs


Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
