White Ironstone Boote’s 1851 Large Pitcher
This large wash pitcher or ewer is in the "1851" shape by T. R. Boote. One of the classic white ironstone designs, the pitcher has a graceful shape, and a paneled design. Nice and clean.
Marked with the impressed Boote mark and registry mark for 1851.
Note: International shipping is not available for this item.
Size: Approximately 12.75" high.
Condition: Very good. "Y" spider line in bottom (doesn't appear to go through), some glaze malformation (during manufacture) where bottom end of handle attaches, dot of blue that must have escaped from another item in the kiln while firing. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
