This antique New Hall cup and saucer (or tea bowl and saucer) has red and blue house and floral motifs. Unmarked, but identical in pattern to a marked example in my inventory. Circa 1795-1800.
Size: Bowl approximately 3.5" top diameter, 2.25" high ; saucer approximately 5.5" diameter.
Condition: Excellent. Some minor flaking to the cobalt blue flowers in saucer (as is usual). A fair amount of fired in grit, etc. during manufacture. No chips, cracks or repairs
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
