This set of 8 English coffee cans (cups) are of white porcelain with red and gilt decoration. Unmarked, but based on the shape and decoration I can confidently attribute them to Spode, circa 1815 (See Berthoud for examples of this shape).
Size: Diameter approximately 2.5"; 2.5 high.
Condition: Six are excellent. One had a piece of stone or frit in interior leaving a recess; this and another one have discernable "yellowing" (not bad, but noticeable in contrast to others). No other chips, cracks or repairs. I have priced as a I would six; so these two are "bonus".
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
