This Victorian clear pressed glass plate would be a nice addition to a collection of children's dishes, or even as a present for a young man. Mass production made these a less expensive option than a more elaborate pottery mug or such.
Probably English, ca. 1880.
Size: Approximately 4 7/8" diameter
Condition: Excellent. Slight edge roughness during manufacture. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
