A nice impressive center bowl in Sterling. Pointed oval form, fluted body with scalloped and pointed edge, standing on four paw feet. It looks well with either traditional or modern decor.
Not monogrammed or engraved. Marked on bottom "Reed & Barton, Sterling" along with X811 (probably a stock number), and a scratched "R" (probably a workman's mark). Vintage, probably 1950-60 era.
I will make sure the outside is polished as well before shipping - apparently I missed this when taking the pictures.
Note: International shipping is not available for this item.
Size: Approximately 12.75” long, 8.75" wide, 4" high
Weight: Approximately 20 troy ounces
Condition: Excellent, with only light scratching in bottom of bowl.
Estate silver will be in used condition, but I will take care to note any defects or condition problems arising from heavy use or abuse.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
