This "block" pattern was known as "Bigler", and was made at various American glass houses in the mid-nineteenth century.
The font was made in a 3-part mold, and joined to a base made in a 2-part mold. See Kaiser's "Glass Industry in South Boston" for an example of this lamp.
Size: Approximately 7.25" high, base diameter 3.75"
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, Returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
