This copper luster goblet was probably meant for decorative, rather than utilitarian purposes. Although the design is simple and there is no decoration, it is a bit different from the usual pitchers, and shows off the reflective quality of the copper color quite nicely. Unmarked, but most likely English, circa 1845.
Size: Approximately 3.5" top diameter, 4.375" high.
Condition: Excellent, with only slight usage marks. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
