This charming little child's mug has green "romantic" transfer of a boating scene in a fanciful landscape. White earthenware body. Unmarked, Staffordshire circa 1835-45. Ideal for the collector of transferware or child's mugs.
Condition: Nice and clean, one small pit or flea bite on bottom of foot rim.
Size: Approximately 2.5" high.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
