This child's earthenware mug has red transfer of maxims from Benjamin Franklin's "Poor Richard's Almanack". Both maxims have the theme of diligence and perseverance, along with an illustration of men and cargo on a wharf.

Size: Approximately 2 3/4" high, 2 3/4" diameter.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects.
