Barr Period Worcester Porcelain Cream Pitcher circa. 1800
This Barr period Worcester white porcelain creamer is decorated with bands of a grape pattern. in deep brown (with purple cast), with tendrils and bands of gilt. Marked with incised "B" (mark used 1792-1804).
This shape is also shown in Berthoud's "A Cabinet of British Creamers".
Size: Approximately 4.5" tall.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
