The curvaceous molded shape and the lavish application of luster make this pitcher seem to dance. The pink and copper luster detail highlight the molded design, and are also used for the medallion devices painted on the main part of the body. The earthenware body has a light tan color. No maker's marks, and a painted mark on the bottom was probably a decorator's tally mark.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
