This nineteenth century hand-blown glass fingerbowl is cranberry flashed over clear, then cut through the cranberry layer with a pattern of grapes, leaves and flower. Polished pontil. Lovely color and bell tone. I don't know if this is American or English.
Size: Approximately 3" high, 4.5" diameter.
Condition: Base wear a expected. Some wear marks on sides, but nothing distracting, just signs of its age. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
