Like all larger pieces with applied handles, the milk pitcher is a scarce item in flint. This one has a nicely shaped lip and good applied handle. Ground and polished base and pontil. Nice and clear with good tone.
This pattern was made in flint by a number of companies during this period, including Sandwich and the New England Glass Co.
Note: International shipping is not available for this item.
Size: Approximately 9.5" tall.
Condition: Excellent. A few diamond points are chipped. No other chips, cracks or repairs, no heat checks in handle.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
