These heavy (over three pounds each) decanters are cut in an "Anglo-Irish" style. The large neck rings are faceted, and there is panel cutting on neck and shoulder, with rondel and panel cutting on the bodies. Bases have heavy star cut, which is mimicked on the tops of the stoppers.
Stoppers appear to be original (there is a difference in the neck openings and respective stoppers).
No marks, but possibly English circa 1900 (or earlier).
A large tray of these type decanters will be wonderful for your "Downton Abbey" viewing parties.
Size: Approximately 11" high (with stoppers)
Condition: Very good. One has a small chip on neck flange which has been ground/polished, and a chip on the base of the stopper. Only slight usual residue/clouding on both. Bottom wear as expected. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, Returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
