This pair of long-oval shape Spode dishes was probably part of a dessert service. They have bright green borders with white floral relief. Hand-painted multi-color floral spray decoration in centers, gilt trim all around. Marked with red painted "Spode" and pattern number "3899". These are from the 1805-10 period.

Size: Approximately 11.5", long, 7.625" wide, 1.75" height.

Condition: Very good. Wear to gilding, light usage scratches. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, Returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
