FREE SHIPPING!! This piece has a Patent Pending mark, which would be early in the production years. Thanksgiving memories for your family for generations and will be a great piece to hand down. Displaying it brings a little of that holiday into your home! This beautiful platter depicts a large tom and hen turkey in the woods. The tom turkey is strutting his stuff for the hen. The tail feathers are all fanned out making this a beautiful transfer. The boarder has pairs of pheasants, surrounded by leaves, flowers and designs in a deep rich brown color. The colors are vibrant and alive and the glaze is just like new. The Johnson Brothers Windsor Ware Wild Turkeys patterns were made from the 1950s until the early 1970s. The Windsor Ware name is simply a trade name and was used on wares made exclusively for the Fisher Bruce Company in Philadelphia, which imported large quantities in many different patterns. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE EARTHENWARE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
