For being over 132 years old I can’t believe this whole set has survived and is still in fantastic condition! The set has been decorated with seaside scenes, shells seaweed and floral transfers. The transfers have been accented with color and raised white enamel. The platter has a scene of a windmill and people along the shore and a scene of people in a boat on the water. Both scenes have been placed inside of gold boarders and have transfers of seaweed and shells in corners. The platter has a basket weaver design in the porcelain on the high sides and is trimmed in gold. The outside edge of the platter has been decorated with floral transfers. The twelve smaller plates have three different seaside scenes, four with each scene and has been decorated similar to the platter with seaweed and shells. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are some wear where they were stack so please see pictures. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
