This is a very nice old platter and just the right size of display or to serve a few cookies on. The cobalt floral designs of trellis work is around the slightly ruffled rim edges and cobalt blue flowers appear to be growing out and over the trellis onto the lovely white background towards the center of the plate. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
