This very appealing platter has been hand painted with small pink roses with light green leaves on rim. Mixed through the roses is deep green gray scroll work around the rim. The two ornate handles have been painted with coin gold adding just the flair that this platter needs. The background of this piece is a brilliant white color. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. These are stunning and would compliment any dinning experience.
Tripled Backstamp: The first and second logos are from POUYAT family factory and dates from 1905-1911. The third logo is for John Wanamaker, one of the first up-scale department store; it consists of a wreath with a banner on the bottom and the letter "W" in the center. The ribbons on the wreath say 'PHILADELPHIA PARIS NEW YORK ".
Measures: 11 3/4" x 7 7/8
