This is a lovely Keller and Guerin plate made in Luneville, France signed by the artist Obert. Wonderful burgundy, soft pink and cream colored background makes this plate pop. Beautiful apples are done in red, and bright yellow colors giving this plate a contrasting color scheme. Variegated green leaves are intermingled with in the group of fruit. There is crazing on the back, and some very very light crazing on the front. The crazing on the front is not distracting and you really have to look to see it. The colors are bright and strong and the glaze is shiny and heavy. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE MAJOLICA IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.

PLEASE SEE OUR MATCHING CHARGER PLT554 AND OUR SMALLER PLATE PLT48 5THAT WOULD ACCOMPANY THIS WONDERFULLY!!
