What a beautiful and uniquely done plate. Keller & Guerin has depicted a shepherds figure in his cape and sheep in a deep blue shadowy color. They have painted the rest of the background a lighter color blue giving this piece a three dimensional look almost has if the moon is the only light in the dark cold night. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.

Please see the companion plate PLT642, they would make a wonderful set!
