Presumably this design was inspired by the exotic flora and fauna seen in India, the central figure is the knotty, twisted trunk of a tree which bears green leaves and extends across the center. On either side we see lovely pink, blue and red blossoms amid graceful branches and leaves. A triple border surrounds the main scene. The inner border features four cartouches with golden designs set on a geometrical background. The next border consists of floral arrays which echo the flowers in the center. And the final edge border is a tight Greek key pattern. A lot of companies have very similar patterns and call them "Indian Tree, India Tree or Tree of Life". There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
