This is one of Haviland's oldest patterns and a very sought after one! These plates features the very familiar pink rose buds with the blue gray leaves. The stems and ferns almost have a feather appearance. The larger plate sides have a decorative gold design with outlined gold leaves and a gold ring around the rim. The gold on the design is a little worn but considering the age it is still in very good shape. Tressemann & Vogt exported these plates which I find unusual. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
