Tressemann & Vogt Company decorated this beautiful piece with pink wild roses and blue bachelor button flowers. They have intermingled sprigs of golden wild grasses amongst the flowers giving in an almost prairie effect. The handles are accented with gold in a branch like design and are extend down onto the plate with gold leaf outlines. This pattern can be seen on Pages 101 & 102 of Gaston's reference book: 'Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain' 3rd edition. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
Please see CDH8,PLT539,PLT410, set PLT961,BWL88 & coffee pot & creamer POT17 in our store that has this same pattern and would look great together!
