The artist has used soft hues for this nicely, gold rimmed, scalloped plate. He has chosen soft celery green and brown colors for the background. He has painted a stem of wild berry flowers and leaves that extend over the plate. Using a mixture of soft pink, white, green and yellow he has created a very different look for the flower than you usually see on a piece of Limoges. The leaves are done in soft hues of amber, green and cream which he as balanced out beautifully. On the deep brown stems he has added thorns making it very realistic. There are no chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
