What a splendid little earthenware pitcher! Upon the pitchers white background the factory has placed a blue transfer of branches, flowers, ribbons and scenic insets. The handle has geometric designs decorating it nicely to tie in with the other blue transfers. This little gem does have a one inch hair line on the rim, but for it's age its wonderful. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE EARTHENWARE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
William Alsager Adderley (& Co), operated the Daisy Bank Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent - producing China and Earthenware
