This is a beautiful old Haviland piece and just the right size to display. The background color of this pitcher is baby blue on the bottom and a creamy white on the upper portion. A gold ring separates the two background colors. A vine with colorful leaves of greens, yellows and browns and lilac colored flowers decorate the upper portion. The handle is shaped like a rope adding that little extra appeal. This is piece is complete with a gold painted rim. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. A must have plate to use or decorate with!!!!
Backstamp: H&Co over L ( Mark V) 1875-1882.
Measures: spout to handle 4 1/4" W, 2 1/2" opening , 5 1/8" H
