This is a great old molded pitcher done in a shiny yellow glaze accented with brown. The scene on the pitcher is the most famous depiction of "Columbus Landing in the New World". The raised design on the side appears to be soldiers. You can see the outline of them holding a sword, a flag and a cross. This would make a wonderful decorating piece due to the nice bright color. There is a flake on the bottom rim otherwise it is in excellent condition. There are hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
