This is definitely a crowd stopper! The mold on this piece catches your attention. It has a square base with indented channels that swirl up and around from each corner and the double looped handle tops it all off. The artwork by Emma Burst is remarkable. She has used cream background at the base that is mixed with green as goes upward and around the main motif. Upon the background on one side she has painted luscious red strawberries nestled amongst green stems and leaves. The reverse side Emma has painted two little strawberries toward the base of the piece. She has completed this magnificent piece with hunter green handle, gold rim on the rim and her signature on the side. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
