The Rainier cherry is the sweetest, prettiest and most pampered of cherries, as delicate as it is lucrative. If the wind blows too hard, the cherry bruises from rubbing against another cherry. If it rains more than a day, the cherry busts its skin. This artist definitely reflexes this definition through his masterpiece. This very attractive large gold rim mug has been hand painted with luscious ripe cherries dangling from deep brown stems. He has combined the ripened cherries and muted green leaves and placed them on a creamy yellow background that blends into an awesome deep green . Has used a nice color mixture of gold and green for the handle also. The artist "D. Hinchcliff" has signed this wonderful piece. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
This is a mug collectors dream!!!
