This is just breathtaking! This is a fluted tray or could be an oblong bowl. It has a background of a soft yellow done in a matte or bisque finish. The scalloped gold edge has raised enamel dots along the edge and is also painted gold. From the edge the artist has painted golden brush strokes ascending downward. He has outlined a raised relief leaf designs on each side. The ends have three pierced openings that have the gold beading between them. A few of the beads are missing between one of the pierced openings. He has outlined and accented a fern like raised designs on each end of this piece. The artist has painted three beautiful long stem roses. One rose is a beautiful soft yellow and he has oddly painted the back of this fully bloomed rose. He has painted a light pink rose accented with a darker pink around the petals edges. This rose is not yet at full bloom. Along with the roses he has added a yellow rose bud waiting to emerge and a pink rose that looks like it may be at the end of its blooming life. He has tied this bouquet with a pearl iridescent ribbon. On the edges of the ribbon he has applied tiny raised enamel beads giving the illusion of a silver edging. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. The artist did not sign this piece but should have the detail that he has applied is just beautiful. Pictures truly can not show the beauty of this plate.
