We are in an age where everyone is drinking specialty teas! This tea chest will let you store your bags or loose teas in style! Here is your chance to keep and mix your own blend just like they did back in the 1800’s!! If you aren’t into the tea mixing thing, this pieces looks wonderful set out as a decorative item. The tea caddy has been covered with rosewood veneer and accented with beaded trim around the upper top portion and around the bottom. This caddy sits on four rounded feet and has a brass inlay key hole. The sides have a knob that you can use for carrying it. The two, tea caddy compartments have brass hinged lids and fit snugly into their openings. The inside also contains a glass bowl with handles that can be used for mixing the teas. The bowl isn’t original to the pieces but displays and fits nicely. There is a key for this lovely piece which is very rare. There are a few areas that have the veneer missing but definitely do not take away from the beauty of this amazing piece of history. Please see pictures for condition.
