What a gorgeous set these two are. The Ashworth Brothers have used a wonderful deep cobalt background with deeper blue veins running through the color and also imprints of what appears to fabric. Beautiful green centered, yellow flowers on brown stems decorate both pieces. Both pieces are on footed bases. The sugar container has fox shaped heads as the handles and an acorn shape for the finial. The rims on the pieces are decorated with the same brown as the stems tying them nicely together. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flakes. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE & ANTIQUES EARTHENWARE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
