Beautiful antique ornate frame which really will make that picture or mirror pop! The front and sides are gilded over gesso over wood. The frame is decorated with ornate scrolls, acanthus leaves, flowers and beaded designs all raised. There is an inner frame of brown velvet giving the frame an amazing look. There are a few pieces of Gesso. This frame happens to have an original piece of artwork signed by Ruth Tippin and dated 65. We cannot find any reference to this artist so cannot date the painting accurately. The picture does complete the look perfectly! Please see pictures for condition.

Measures: opening 27 1/2" L x 13 1/2" W, Frame: 26 3/4" W x 41" L x 2 1/2" D The frame is 6 ½” Wide
