This bowl is quite unusual and very interesting to look at. This pattern was originally known as ABBEY WREATH and had been produced by WILLIAM ADAMS in the 1840s.The bowl is set on a cream colored base. A golden yellow orange luster background is on the inner sides of the bowl. Around the inside rim are transfers of green scroll and lattice work decorate around five cartouches. Inside the cartouches are remnants of an old church. The center of the bowl has a similar church scene which has had red paint applied to several sections. This is one of the better pieces I have seen in this pattern. It is in excellent condition and the yellow-orange luster is wonderful! There are no chips or cracks, manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
Having all three would make a wonderful display!!
