Lapis Lazuli Fabulous 800S Pendant Necklace

An extraordinary antique necklace beautifully made from 800 silver and set with a large lapis lazuli cabochon.

The lapis has a deep blue color with lots of flecks of iron pyrite throughout the stone.

The bezel set lapis is framed with an ornate raised pattern, it hangs from the original embellished bail.

The chain is quite amazing...each link is beautifully detailed with a pattern matching the frame around the lapis.

The necklace closes with a secure large spring ring catch.

The chain measures 18.5" long, the pendant with the bail adds 2.5" to the length and is 1.5" wide.

Total weight is a hefty 47 grams.

Excellent condition, with no damage or visible wear.

Marked 800 for silver content on the back, the necklace is most likely Italian in origin and made by Peruzzi.
