14k White Gold Carnelian Shell Cameo Pendant/Pin

A lovely late Edwardian/early Art Deco period carved carnelian shell cameo of a woman in profile.

Her hair has great texture and is adorned with two flowers, there is a single flower on her shoulder.

Beautifully carved with great detail and fine, crisp lines.

The cameo is set in 14k white gold, the bezel is framed with lacy filigree and embellished with textured leaves.

Measures 1.25" by 1", the cameo alone is 1" by .75". Total weight is 5.64 grams.

Excellent condition, all original, no damage or visible wear.

Marked 14k on the old style safety clasp that works in reverse, a pivoting pendant bail is present so it can be worn as a necklace.
