Fabulous Cartier 18k gold “Trinity” ring in the original box.

Designed by Louis Cartier in 1924, the Trinity Ring has become an iconic design. Originally designed for French poet and playwright Jean Cocteau, Hollywood icons like Grace Kelly and Gary Cooper were also known to wear the ring.

This beauty consists of three rings of gold, one of each color, white gold, rose gold and yellow gold.

The bands represent love, friendship, and fidelity, and the three intertwine gracefully to symbolize life’s most meaningful relationships. Overlapping in a knot reminiscent of the eternity sign, the bands can also represent the interconnectedness of the past, present, and future.

Often used as a wedding band, any way you wear it, it’s pure style.

The bands slide onto the finger by rolling over each other, and part of the ring’s charm is that it makes a great “fidget ring” because the bands can be pushed back and forth which changes the design.

Each band measures just under 5mm wide and 1.5mm thick, they have a nice dome and great weight.

Ring size 58 (approximately ring size 7), marked inside 750 for 18k, Cartier and MJ115 L c1997. Total weight is a hefty 16.2 grams. Also marked on the outsides of the band though mostly worn there are still indications of the mark.

Excellent condition, no damage and surface patina commensurate with age.

Original Cartier embossed red box is included.
