An outstanding antique cameo pin/pendant expertly carved from carnelian shell.

The beautifully woman is exquisitely carved with great attention to detail, the lines are crisp and clean.

The fine details in her hair and roses is exceptional, the carved horseshoe frame is unique.

It has a fold down loop as well as pin findings so it is versatile.

Measures 2" by 1&5/8", the cameo alone is 1&7/8" by 1.5"

Marked 14k on the old style safety catch which works in reverse. Total weight is 15.2 grams.

Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
