A vintage Sigma Chi* fraternal pin in 14k yellow gold, enamel and seed pearls.
The center has black enamel with the Greek letters in the center, the insignia is framed with seed pearls, the ends of the cross each has three seed pearls and some white enameling.
Measures .5" by 3/8". Marked 14k on the back, total weight is 2.7 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear. The pin hinge, pin stem and locking clasp are all the originals in smooth working order. There is a tiny ring on the back that at one time had a security chain and pin or an additional Greek letter attached. All of the half seed pearls are original and extremely well matched in color.
