14k Victorian Mourning Pin w Enamel & Onyx

A dramatic Victorian mourning pin beautifully made in 14k yellow gold, black onyx and enamel.

The dimensional pin features a faceted oval onyx drop hanging from a sleek gold design enameled in black with engraved gold edges.

The pin measures 1&7/8" by 1&1/8", the onyx drop alone is .75" and .5" across the center.

Excellent antique condition, white lines are glare off the shiny surface. There are two 'petals' that have some rough spots, it can only been seen upon close inspection.

The original C catch has been replaced with a safety catch for security, it has a secure safety catch and pin stem.

Unmarked, the gold tested 14k with acid, total weight is 10.2 grams.
