A lovely antique Edwardian carved carnelian shell cameo of a woman in profile.
The carving of the woman is simple yet elegant, her hair has amazing texture, flowers adorn her dress at the shoulder.
The cameo is set in 800 silver (tested), the bezel is framed lacy filigree.
It has pin findings with the old style safety catch that works in reverse.
Measures 1&3/8" by 1", the cameo alone is 1&1/8" by 7/8".
Excellent condition, no damage and minimal wear.
