A wonderful old American thimble was made by Simons Brothers & Co. c1905.
It has a classic design embellished with a band of 10k rose gold, the band has a fine engraved vine on the edges, there is no engraving on the band.
Marked 12 for size, inside has a hallmark of an S within a shield, the logo for Simon Brothers. Also marked Sterling Silver Made in USA. The rose gold tested 10k with acid.
Excellent condition, no damage or visible wear, perfectly in round.
Measures 7/8" tall with an opening of 11/16".
A lovely antique Simons Brothers thimble in fabulous condition.
