Antique Victorian Seed Pearl Onyx Mourning Bar Pin

An elegant Victorian mourning pin beautifully made in black onyx, 14k and seed pearls.

The onyx is expertly carved and polished to a high shine.

Three 14k embellishments accent the onyx bar, the center one is set with luminous seed pearls.

The findings are soldered onto a gold strip which is riveted into the drilled onyx in four places.

It measures 2.5" by .5" and .25" thick. The gold backing and embellishments tested 14k, the pin findings are not gold.

Very well made with sharp, clean lines and finished to perfection.

Condition is excellent, very clean, any white lines are glare off the shiny surface, it closes with a wide C clasp.
