A wonderful Victorian sterling stickpin of a sword in its scabbard.
Set with tiny turquoise cabochons on the cross hilt and on the scabbard which is the pin-cover.
A chain holds the scabbard to the hilt.
A classic Victorian style, tiny turquoise were very popular on adornments during this period.
It was often worn on a man's cravat.
The pin in the scabbard measures 2.25" total length by 5/8" across the hilt, the chain is 2".
Excellent condition, no damage, minimal wear.
Unmarked, it tested sterling with acid.
