An amazing vintage spider pin exquisitely made in 18k yellow gold.
The sculptural spider has 10 legs which is characteristic of a particularly large spider*.
The two section body of the spider has a combination of fine texture and shiny surface designs.
Tiny garnets are bezel set as eyes.
Most likely European in origin, it is marked 750 for gold content and a hallmark that I can't decipher, it has a trombone style clasp.
Very well made and in excellent condition, the pin measures 1&7/8" by 1.5" and weighs 10.6 grams.
A fine quality and unique vintage 18k spider pin.
