A beautiful Roseville pottery double bud vase with a lovely blended matte glaze.
The graceful shape has an unusual design from the Thornapple* line introduced in 1937.
It has two places for flowers and is described in the Roseville book as a 'candelabra'.
The pink and green blended matte glaze is soft and dreamy.
Measures 5.25", the shorter holder is 4" tall. The base measures 4" by 3.25".
Thornapple was originally marked with die-impressed Roseville script mark. This piece is marked on the bottom in script with the incised Roseville mark and number which means it is an original production piece..
Good vintage condition, there are three fleabites and light crazing, the fleabites are in places that are not noticeable when viewing. Photo 7 shows the largest one. The piece was priced with this in mind as the book price has a value of $200.
A sleek Roseville Pottery vase in a very hard to find design and fabulous blended matte glaze.
